Setting Up an EDSBY Account


Setting up a Parent Account on Edsby is vital to knowing how the children on your caseload are doing in school. You will be able to check on attendance, homework, grades, and more!
You will need to have information for one of the children on your caseload:
Date of Birth, Student Number, Last 4 Digits of Child's Social Security Number and the Name of the Child's School
You will be simultaneously creating an account in a new tab as you go through this instruction.

When you click the link for "Parent Sign Up", you will be directed to set up a My SPOT account by filling in the basic information for 1 child in the family.

When you have completed the form, click "Register".


An email should now be in the inbox of the email address that you entered into the My SPOT form. You will follow the prompts below:
First Name​
Last Name
Password
Confirm Password


Your information will then auto-fill into the "Personal Information" page.
Verify that the information is correct!

If it is INCORRRECT, type the error into the designated space here.

If it is CORRECT, click on the blue box that states, "I verify this information is correct.

Using your newly created login credentials, log in to Edsby. Let's learn how to find the vital information that will help you understand your child's educational progress.
Here is the Edsby home screen:



Let's start by hovering your cursor over any of the courses under the heading "Classes".
A box will appear labelled "My Work".
Place your cursor over that box until it becomes a hand.
Click on "My Work" and a graph will appear showing your child's grades on a timeline.


You will see 5 tabs at the top that lead you to all of the vital information you will need for your student.


You can see a snapshot of upcoming homework and assessments in the calendar section to the right of each child on your home screen.
You can also see notes from the teachers under "Recent Activity"
