GOAL STATEMENT

As an Instructional Designer and Learning Experience Designer, Lisa's goals include utilizing her extensive experience with best practices in instructor-led and online learning to create meaningful designs for education, non-profit, or corporate needs. The goal is for learners to experience success while fulfilling the standards required by a body of accreditation or the expectations of the client.

The artifacts in this portfolio showcase the skills required to create effective educational modules using sound theories and models of Instructional Design. (Please note, the most current samples are proprietary to the company she works for and cannot be included on this public site.)  With excellent organizational and communication skills, using the expertise of subject matter experts, Lisa creates quality analyses of the educational needs of the learners and the objectives they are to accomplish. In order for learners to be almost unaware of the learning process, the use of media and materials for effective instruction are carefully planned.  Knowing how to assess progress through formative assessments allows for adjustments and re-teaching to occur during instruction. This supports success for each individual on the summative assessment at the completion of the module, or on other forms of testing that are applicable outside of individual learning modules.
